Labour have made significant gains in Brighton and Hove, gaining Brighton Kemptown and holding Hove with massive majorities.

Lloyd Russell-Moyle won Brighton Kemptown by 10,000 votes and Peter Kyle kept his seat in Hove with a 15% swing to Labour.

The Green’s only MP, Caroline Lucas, also held her seat with increased majority of around 10,000 votes.

Nationally, the Conservatives have remained the largest party, but have fallen short of a majority. It is expected that they will try and come to an arrangement with the DUP to be able to form a government.
