The Conservative Party are predicted to come fifth in the European elections next Thursday, with a recent poll suggesting that the party will fall to only nine percent of the national vote.

The Tories, which only launched their campaign today – six days before voters go to the polls – have fallen behind not only the Brexit Party and Labour, but also the Liberal Democrats and the Green Party.

The poll, published by YouGov, also shows Labour falling behind the Liberal Democrats, having initially leading in the polls two months ago. The pro-remain party is now ahead of Labour by one percent.

The Green Party look set to win their most amount of seats in the European Parliament, with eight and ten percent of the vote.

Nigel Farage’s Brexit Party remains in the lead with more support than Labour and the Liberal Democrats combined.
